Investment Assignment

Objectives:

Research potential companies you wish to invest.

Keep track of a several investment decisions using a spreadsheet.

Buy and Sell stocks effectively over a 2 month period.

Prepare a report summarizing your investments.

Generate money for your Business Venture.

Requirements

Journal (Word) (15 Marks)

Keep track of the companies that you have invested in. You must have the day of purchase, and the reason for buying or selling their stock.

Tracking in Excel

You must create several different spreadsheets that are going to keep track of the value of your stocks. You have 1,000,000 to invest, you must not exceed this spending limit unless you have made a profit on your investments. You must keep track of every transaction carefully. There are two suggested layouts for spreadsheets below. You may want add more features to your tracking sheets (PE, Dividends Earned, etc..)
