1) Title Page (Business Name, Logo, Owner's Name, Address)
2) Executive Summary (1 page summary of the business, proposal sheet)
3) SWOT analysis
- Strengths - internal, something that you can control that may increase the profitability of your business. (Training, Quality Control, Cleanliness)
- Weaknesses - internal, something that you can control that may decrease the profitability of your business. (Inexperience, Start-up costs, Layout)
- Opportunities - external, something that you cannot control that may increase the profitability of your business (Public Transit, Population Increase, Fad, Aging Population)
- Threats - external, something that you cannot control that may decrease the profitability of your business (Inflation, Weather, Construction)
4) The Four P's
- Product - Describe in detail your product and why someone will buy it instead of the competition's product.
- Promotion - How you are going to deliver your product. What is your marketing strategy? (TV, Radio, Flyer, Labels, Business Cards)
- Price - Pricing Strategy. How will you position your product in relation to similiar products on the market.(ELP, Loyalty cards)
- Place - What will the location of sale look like. Where will it be? Design a layout that will display your product effectively.
5) Cash Flow - Money in, Money out
- Intro A) List the money and supplies that you have
B) List the money and supplies that you need
C) List where you are going to acquire the money and supplies you need
- Cashflow - Detailed forecast of your business financials
Revenue - Money received from your customers
Expenses - Money spent to generate revenue
Revenue - Expenses = Net Income
